What gives?

So I go to log in at 7am this morning, get an 80-person queue, get hit with error 1017 at 30 people in front me, my character however logs in without me, she is STILL logged in 13 hours later, in East Thanalan, without me being able to play. I try to log in, and get this:




now, this is while my FC members on Balmung are IN GAME, texting me about how my character is in game and has been idle this whole time. I filed a report 8 hours ago, I've been trying to play all day. While I understand shit happens, and you didn't expect this many players, you still should have known how many you'd have. You knew how many people you took money from when they purchased this game, no? You knew these problems existed just from Phase 4/Early Access, no?

I'm a patient person, but when I have ONE day off, and work 14 hours the rest of the week, I would have REALLY liked to have been able to enjoy my 100 dollar game


Edit: Irrelevant update; I've apparently had my character logged in consistently since thursday night, which was the last time I was able to play.

Edit 2: A Irrelevant update, Reborn; A FC member and good friend of mine, opened a GM call regarding my character, to see if they could force log her, and neither of us have received any form of update.

I have to say. Compared to the usual nonsense that's been on this forum since shit hit the fan, THIS is actually interesting.
