Thread: Need some help from the FF community if possible, 1.0's please read too! <3

Hey guys!

For the amazing time I've spent playing the game, It has been mostly doing FATE for Seals and grinding Ranks for Maelstrom Grand Company.


This morning around 3AM EST, I maxxed out my Maelstrom Rank as well as got 34,000/50,000 Maelstrom seals. The NPC that usually gives the promotions told me I had reached the maximum rank and they had nothing else to offer, but, i was able to change my faction to Uldah flames or Gridinia. The npc also told me that I could not use items i had purchased while changing Grand Companies, and my seals would be frozen until i was of that allegiance again. Also, that the first time was free, and next time it would cost something.


So okay cool! I decided to go Uldah Flames and continue leveling Grand Companies. I mean hey why not right? The NPC stated i would keep my seals and rank, i couldnt use the items but whatever i had something better for my weapon anyways.

Right after I changed I opened two tabs to make sure everything was still there.

1. I opened my Hunting Log and saw that Yes, Maelstrom icon was still there, i clicked it and it showed 3/3 was completed... awesome! It also showed next to it the Uldah Icon.. cool cool!

2. So next I opened, Character screen - Currency:
It showed all my Maelstrom Seals, and now it also showed Flame Seals. Perfect! This is what i wanted. Now i was feeling the leveling rush and was all happy i could really deck my character out and get this faction grinding out of the way!




So i log off about 5AM est, got a few promotions with flame and everything was fine.


Logged in today after failing to connect all day long. I open My Currency tab and the Hunters Log.... and it does not show any Maelstrom at all!!!!! No seals, no ranks, not even the icon in Hunters Log. I am literally feeling like a panic attack lol. What exactly has changed in the 15hours I've been away? Icons being removed and such no seals there? I asked around and people said when i change back they will be there. Is there any 1.0's out there that can verify this? I dont want to change back then lose the almost maxxed Uldah rep i have now you know guys? ?

I am really freaking out and my wife said why not ask in the forums. I really hope some knows what happened. It Definitely showed both in Hunters Log and Currency and also gave me the strength to carry on knowing all my work was not in vain... and im talking like 60 hours of work, pretty much what i decided to get out of the way first.


Please help guys I would really appreciate it.
