Why continue to complain at this point?

SE and Yoshi-P have done everything they can to keep you updated on the situation. Yoshi-P has said there will be new servers on Wednesday and the problem will lessen. He publicly admitted he made a mistake in this area... apologized, and promised to do something about it, and stated when that something would happen. He also stated that there will be compensation for the lost time that people have suffered.


I'm not saying it's fair that a lot of people have been locked out of these servers for as long as they have, but SE has communicated everything they could. So what is the point in continuing these complaints when they are not going to change anything?

Now, what should be done is the moderators (if there are any) should merge all the complaints threads into one giant thread. People would keep complaining but it would be contained and if you don't want to participate you can just avoid the thread altogether.

I agree, but that would req moderation. Easier to just let them keep coming up and delete the bad stuff.

You're new here, aren't you? Several copies of the same thread is often on the front page; that would never work.

Thank you, someone who actually understands and isn't complaining about being offline all day. yeah there are possibly 20,000 other players waiting to get online, because you have everyone who sits online and never logs out, because they want to be ass holes and keep others offline. yeah i'm glad SE finally stated they are making corrections in the server and making more for possible players to play but i'm also hoping they allow us a free transfer from more populated servers to less active ones. Yeah i'm a little hopeful but would be nice.

I agree it is pointless to complain. However, there is something I like to chuckle to myself about. I remember reading back in the beta forums people would always say "Stop complaining, it's a beta! When the game officially launches, THEN you can complain all you like with good reason. Until then, hush up!" and now they are saying "Stop complaining, it just got released! When the game is given a couple of weeks to a month, THEN you can complain all you like with good reason. Until then, hush up!". You guys know who you are hehehe.
Let's just wait for this all to blow over, it is frustrating, but I have faith SE will fix this right up and are working as hard as they can on it. SE is suffering the consequences, but it is a lesson to them that will in the long run better the servers for us.

Forgot to mention: complaints are healthy for the industry. It's annoying when they keep on popping up in threads, yes, but at least it does get SE's attention on the matter.

well in my opinion 1.0 failed due to the same mistakes, I don't see any lessons leaned form the new team, all they did is mess up the maps and made the graphics are worse, how do people consider this re-launch a success I am not sure but I at least 1.0 version was original in it's own way, where as the new version is a copy of many other MMO's and they couldn't even keep up with the basic services .....

this is a complete fallers although I hate to say it but there is no other explanation at this point,the excuses provided are a little too late from the production team.

It's one thing to vent, and a lot of us understand that. But there is also such a thing as 'going too far'. I think this is why these 'anti-complaining' threads exist. I don't think it's necessarily about apologizing for SE or some such, but more on the lines of trying to keep all the hate from growing out of control.

Although judging from another poster saying there's only three threads on the first page NOT about complaints, I think the anger has already gotten out of hand. I mean, lawsuits? Death threats? Seriously? Like I said, there's such a thing as going too far... and sadly, most of us feel it's gone far past that.

if the servers can only have 5000 characters logged in at any time then it is SE fault for not haveing an afk log out measure, or allowing more then 5000 characters to be created on a server duiring p4 and early access
