Well this might be bad graphics but how can you explain that some people see those graphics just perfectly fine, while other's don't?

Everyone is capable of seeing these ugly shadows, simply by changing their FFXIV graphics settings. Some configurations make the problem much more obvious than others. For instance, it is easier to see at lower resolutions.

Hence, it isn't really a bug. Just a flaw in the graphics... that is glaringly obvious in a game that tries hard to be pretty.
