No. Just add the afk out and we will be fine.

idle timer is all they need way different then giving you play time limits.
Are 'some of us' not having login issues, because 'some of us' are leaving their characters logged in, while the rest of us stare at login screens?
Think thy are planing on adding a afk log out
Resolving AFK Character Issues
From several users on some of our more congested Worlds, we have received requests for a feature which automatically logs out characters who are AFK for an extended period of time. We are actively looking into the implementation of such a feature, but have decided to first concentrate our efforts on increasing the number of Worlds and optimizing the Duty Finder servers.
adding higher capacity servers is the solution, be patient, your 'fix' is absurd.
Not this, and NO afk timer.
It's never taken me longer than 5 minutes to get on Sargatanas at any point.
Definitely NOT.
We pay a monthly fee for this game, therefore, we are allowed to play as long as we want. EVERYONE would leave the game if they put a "play timer" on it.
I don't know what kind of world you're living in OP, but it's sure one I never want to set foot in.

No, we need a que that works. That is allIn addition to an AFK timeout logout that they sorely need to implement, SQEX really need to provide current launch players with some relief by giving players a timer limit for staying logged in.
Say 3 hours of game time before a compulsory logout (with a 15-20 minute warning before the player will be logged automatically) - at which time you can go directly back into the waiting queue - which ideally won't be so bad because AFKers are getting logged out and people are getting logged out.
I mean, yeah that sounds kinda bad... until you realize we're dealing with the current alternative which is wait 3 hours, pressing 0 on numpad or A/X on gamepad to *possibly* get into the game.
Unfortunately, due to tragedy of the commons, few people are going to log out once they're in - the wait times and queues only encourage and incentivize this behaviour, which in turn exacerbates the wait times and queues.
