5000 * 50 = 250 000AS it is right now, I imagine they are not even running servers at capacity. If they have 50 worlds, 25 each, running at max(5k x 50=???), that would be way less than there concurrent user estimates from the night before the announcement of digital sales being suspended of 300k+. No, they say they can only limit things right now to help keep the servers from crashing. If they had given us more lobby servers to begin with this would likely be a much less drastic issue. I'd be willing to bet a major deciding factor in pop control is based solely on how much traffic is coming in from said server to the host/lobby server. But who knows really? This shit is waaaay about my paygrade.
Max concurrent connections S-E mentioned was 330 000 wasn't it?
Now obviously servers aren't THAT simple, but essentially they are running at a buffer capacity to ensure they dont crash completely IIRC...
