Now, I know the reason time flies by in Eorzea is so that nobody feels discriminated against by timezone but, come on, the current speed is a bit much, surely.

While my personal preference would be to just de-sync from real time slightly, so that we got more or less 'real' day length but everyone eventually got to have a go with the different times, I realise that's never going to happen.

That said, I really do think we could stand to slow down the passage of time in Eorzea by a little. Right now the hours flash by so quickly that there isn't time to enjoy the the different times of day. Why not slow it down a bit, just so players can sit down and enjoy the stars, or a sunset or sunrise, or so? Actually enjoy the feeling of 'playing at night' a little more, or... well.

'Just seems a bit of a shame, really, especially given how downright beautiful Final Fantasy XIV's sky rendering is, not to mention the attention to detail in showing the moon phases and so forth.
