Unable to click "start" button

I manage to log in to my account easily enough but the "Start" button isn't available for clicking.
I am currently in the 30 free days from the ANZ purchase of the game. I understand there's login issues at the moment but I didn't read anything similar to what's happening to me. Is anyone having this issue?

This is generally because a firewall is denying the game access to the internet. Peerblock wouldnt let me play until i shut it off. same greyed out start button issue.

I had same problem. Just keep trying to login and you will get in. Its all about luck.

I actually have this problem when I run the game with the steam overlay on. It is odd but that's the only time it happens to me.

This is BS... You know what? I think they should extend the free trial by a few days.

I believe everyone is saying that they will. However knowing SE that means they will send you robotic fingers in the mail to press 0 faster than you can now.

That's strange because I've been playing for a few days up til today; more over, I just tried turning firewall off to log on and no change. Must be something different.

Thats because it has nothing to do with firewalls (in this instance). Its because SE thinks that there is only a few thousand NA/EU players, so they made the servers too small for concurrent connections... so now we are basically ddosing the login server making the problem worse, instead of sitting in a que. This in turns overflows the lobby part of the launcher, causing the start button to gray out.

ps: I'm also having the same grayed-out start button problem.

Ahhh, I suppose that makes sense. Well I'm out for a few hours soon anyway so I won't be contributing to that circus of affairs for at least a little while.

Meh, I can hit start right now (although I have seen the problem you describe). At this point I can't see the NA/EU list.
