My hypothesis would be that you are dealing with the same fate everyone else here is. Square Enix is head-over-heels in people trying to get on, and so many people is causing so many full servers, and so many full servers means so many server crashes. You can try any server right now, I even try the Japanese ones, nothing works. The best solution would be to sit back, and enjoy the weekend with a book. The server upgrades are coming in next week, and then we can (hopefully) enjoy this again.

It's just a hypothesis, I really have no idea code wise, I use PC.
