So if I'm deployed in Guam and forced to make a character in Japan, then 6 months later return to the States.. I'm screwed from 6 months of play time? No thanks. No server restrictions help military members or those who travel frequently immensely.

Sorry but u would kick me out of the culture I love doing that. I play jp servers cause I love the Asian culture and the comforting respect from players I get from there. There is a reasons I refuse to play on na or eu servers. I hate the rudeness and constant spamming that is always on na and eu servers on any mmo I have played. This one has been no exception either by what I saw when I attempted na on beta tests.

Sorry to say but they have all came out with EU,NA,JP servers more to come who knows.

Thta's just what you hope to see, the regional servers are here because some ppl care about latency, i play in one of the most international server, Balmung, it's an NA based server but so far i(EU) played with JP, EU, and NA, the server is always alive unlike servers in games with regional IP blocking.

About the rmt, you're wrong, most RMTs are chinese or korean, they use proxy to get in the servers in most games.

What i see here is just you trowing tatrums because you can't play.

I agree, both my girl friend and i would be playing on the Japanese servers if it wasn't for the language barrier. We tried for a little while but felt like we were being rude when ever we couldn't respond to anyone that tried to talk to us. Right now we are on an NA server and its pretty much how you described. Maybe a bit more mild then your typical Wow server but still full of jerks.

If i could read Japanese and speak it, i would be there in a heart beat.

I'm sorry you got it all wrong, I like the idea where SE has come out with server for us EU players its much better then in Final fantasy XI where it was rare to get a Eu linkshell and I use to stay up at night to play with NA players to do events at like 12.00am lol

You're asking for IP blocking, i see no reasons to have it besides you're mad because you have some NA and JP players on your server, wow did it and it was a bad idea, tere and GW2 did it, but reionals servers are almost a must for an action MMO, but here? just give me a valid reason besides you don't like having ppl form other conutries or mabye different languages in shout a say.

We are free to go everywhere, and if SE chages this they will have problmes, as i said we have a strong international community here and very few ppl like you.

Your idea is against FFXIV itself, and your biggest error is using the word "we" as if you were representing someone more thatn you.
