best thing for the error 1017

Put in a "LOGIN QUE", this will fix the error 1017 and the wear and tear on peoples 0 (or controllers version) key. Before long you at SE will have to buy everyone new keyboards or controllers.

Oh and before i forget, put in a 15-20 min afk auto logout timmer.

Haha I just cant stand to think of how many RMT and bots there are using up all that player space right now. But tried to log for a good 15-20 min and then the game finally said how about instead of 1017 we give you 2002 and close your game out.

I had the same thing happen to me today as well, makes me wonder sometimes if the Japanese servers are getting these messages too or if we are just the "special" group...

Nope. You guys are just the special group while us on JP servers have 20,000 player caps lol hehe yoloswag .

But seriously come on, no one is being treated better on the basis of where said company operates from. We, as in the JP, SEA and ANZ communities that play on JP servers are all having just as much trouble logging in as anyone else.

Only problem is that it would make players use bots or put something on the W key or on a controller tape down the analog stick and consistently walk into a wall to avoid getting kicked

I would say no afk timer, I payed for my time in Eorzea, if I wanna stand around and do nothing it is my prerogative. I don't feel anyone should be forced out of the game just for being afk, this is a virtual world that my character lives in, and he is going to be there for as much time as I want him to be there, regardless of what he is actually doing in the world. If I pay for 2 spots on an bus, and use that 2nd spot for a carrion bag, that spot doesn't get taken because a person isn't sitting there, it's my spot and I will use it as I see fit. My characters time in Eorzea is his time, and I will have him use it as I see fit

You are not the only one who is paying to play this game. Going afk for even an hour is insensitive.
