Yup, still got the box and everything; even the receipt. Never used the buddy pass either.![]()
In that case it shouldn't be too hard to get them to fix it.
If you can hold out, wait a little before calling them about it.
As you probably already know they're quite swamped with support tickets, so waiting a little should improve your chances of getting to someone that actually understands your problem rather than to someone that might be a new hire they took in just to handle the ticket volume.
The confusion is this:I purchased the $49.99 2.0 Collector's edition and received the pre-order bonus items but not the CE items. So I sent in an email requesting it fixed. Here's the reply
No where on the website did it say this. So I can either create a new service account to get the items or pay another $19.99 to upgrade. THATS NOT THE BEST PART. For giggles, I created a new service account and entered in the CE code into mog station on the new account. Invalid Code.....hmmm. Bravo SE bravo.
If you pre-ordered the 2.0 CE, the code they give you creates an entirely new service account, and does not apply to your existing account. Whether that was a 1.0 account, a beta account, etc. The early-access code they gave you with that 2.0 CE order DID apply to your existing account. Do we need to go on to explain why this resulted in this monumental f**ck up?
SE has a form to fill out that ostensibly solves this issue (there's a 500+ page thread on this in this very forum). I've had my tickets open for days (some closed due to being too old, despite their only reason for being old was because no one from SE bothered to actually do anything in response to them) without a real response yet, but those who win the chat roulette during M-F business hours apparently get to talk with a real person and see resolution within 24 hours.
Yeah, I think I'll just have to be patient on it. I get there are a lot worse issues going on right now for other people who just wanna play the game. And its not like I'm angry about it, just got my hopes up for that cool 2.0 bonus stuff and am disappointed to be missing out. That said, the game itself turned out fantastic and I'm loving all the changes so far!In that case it shouldn't be too hard to get them to fix it.

I agree, I've been lucky to avoid a lot of the other problems being experienced, I was just excited to receive my 2.0 CE items, and have had to watch literally everyone I know on the server receive them. I can be patient, but it would be nice to hear an official response to the group of us who have had this problem.
Received response regarding not receiving the 2.0 CE items, and mog station not displaying my account status properly. Ended up just being a canned message detailing which codes to put where, which does not apply to me.

I have the same problem...They just dont answer my tickets. I own Collector's Edition 1.0 and I'm also Legacy.
My Mog Station has this information:
Other Received Bonus Items
・Onion Helm
This proves I registered the correct code for my CE 1.0. So now I ask where are my CE 2.0 bonus items???
I am a 1.0 CE owner and Legacy. I have received all the digital in-game bonus items. I also pre-ordered a physical 2.0 CE for the PC and received all my bonus physical items when the game was delivered.
Oops. I didn't get the cait sith minion or mog hat since I couldn't register my 2.0 PC CE code with my legacy account. I suppose I will sell my 2.0 PC CE on eBay.

Damn was just going to offer to buy it
I'll buy today!
If you got 1.0 CE you can register your 2.0 CE but the CE contents cannot be added to a 1.0 CE account. That was communicated by SE long before release.
If you got 1.0 CE for PC simply buy 2.0 CE for PS3 and add that code to your existing SquareEnix account and you got both in one account.
I did it so and I got all my bonus stuff, legacy and CE contents.
