Well they are only considering a free week after their update to fix on Wednesday(still why not just do it now, it cannot get much worse), but can there be multiple package choices, a free week of an update that may not help at all is ok, but I want something that is guaranteed to help me and maybe others advance. How about something like a free relic voucher or maybe 2k tomestones or something that is as I said an actual progress step as seeing most players cannot get on making them feel like they did not miss out on what work they could have done, to me seems like a better option than just a free week.

Edit: stop thinking the idea was for those items, it was more of the concept of something more beneficial and tangible than a week of play time.

The update on Wednesday will not fix it, it may ease it a little. They need to give us at least a 30 free sub. Just considering giving 7 days is not enough. We have already lost more time than that. From a customer service stand point their offer is quite disgusting.

Early Access was a week ago, one week free time, adds up to me. Unless you intend to play 24/7, in which I would pity your poor choices in life.

That's not how it works in customer service and that's not how you run a successful company. SE has historically had many problems because of this kind of behaviour.
I wouldn't but if I wanted to play 24 hrs a day it's might right as a consumer that paid to do so.
If you think that this will be magically fixed come Wednesday you are wrong, this will be at least a month of load balancing.
Take your pity elsewhere.

The sense of entitlement is great in this one. A free relic voucher? Really?? It's been released less than a week, and they're giving you a free week to make up for it which i think is fair enough. And besides, the game hasn't been unplayable if you really try to get on. It's only taken me a maximum of 20 mins to get on during prime time and a lot less than that outside of prime. People just like to blow things way out of proportion. This issue is bad, but not worth more than a weeks free game time.

I agree with OP opinion that something more tangible needs to be in the works. There was a bunch of progress many of us could not make because of the incident.

"Well they need to give us another 30 day free sub to compensate for the fact I couldn't play during Early Access and only occasionally during the last sub."

7 extra days is generous as is, let's not tread this slippery slope because that's exactly where it's heading.

I hope load issues continue to be a problem (while they slowly add more servers), because that means the servers are actually full. Nobody wants to play on empty servers.
A week is plenty in compensation. It might even be more, but they could also just not give us anything. It's happened before during other MMOs lifespans (WAR, TERA, etc).

I wish SE would have said anyone who joined in Aug 2013 cannot make a post until they have played for at least a month. But all I am saying is something more beneficial needs to be thought of a weeks playtime is not going to cut it

I've been here (well, on the beta forums) for months, not that it changes anything either way- having bought the game when it was a disaster (a.k.a legacy-player) is not something that gives your opinions more credibility, you know.
