All i heard is "I'm a legacy and i want shit handed to me". People like you are the reason people dislike legacies, you feel SOOO entitled. If you think your the only person to have bought a game and it sucked ass, go get a PS2 and "Big mother Truckers". If you didn't like the game why pay for it? You already pay less than newer players, Square Enix has bent over backwards to compensate 1.0 players making sure all their stuff saved, making sure they have all these perks and you want more, yeah we lost some time. does it suck? fuck yeah it sucks but in retrospect once they fix the problem your not even going to care in a few months.
wait what... this comment hurts my brain ...so you lost 7 days they are giving you back 7 days....but you want 30 , in what situation in the history of the human race has this ever worked besides robbery
I am going to return some shirts tomorrow and demand they give me double what i paid

I love how people think Wed will be magic and all our problems will go away.. This is a cheap dollar store bandaid to fix a bullet wound. We would need atleast 20 more servers and free transfers to get everyone into the game.
we ought to get free server transfers due to having servers locked from new character creation (i.e. not being able to start in the same world that some of our friends were in.
we can start a new character, but then what do we do for now, waste time on a character we aren't going to use?
The problem with this mentality is not only does it give nothing to the customers it doesn't give anything to the business either and in the end it might even hurt them. In this day and age mmos can die very very easily. I'm not saying se should bend over and pull their pants down for us, but at the end of the day doing something will help both of us instead of doing nothing helping nobody.
Especially in an mmo community. Give us a hand and we'll kiss your feet and swoon over everything you do, try to give us a fingernail and the community will most likely rip your arm off out of spite
and whether or not you're a fan boy you can't say there isn't something wrong or nothing worth complaining about. I have never had to sit there and actually spam a log in screen for 20 minutes to try and play a game, at the very least i sit in a queue and am able to go do other things while i move up in line. And FFXIV has had hands down the most server down time of any mmo in the past 3-4 years that has launched.
Not including the logistics of transferring everyone's friends and LS's in the process. I would say just add more capacity to the existing servers but the game was obviously built (performance wise) around a set number of logins/characters per server. Else, we wouldnt have an issue right now. A patch is a small problem. Having servers that were specifically reserved by legacy members 2 months ahead of time, which mustve been about 200% undershot as far as login in estimates went (somehow), only adds to my confusion of the situation and adds up to a huge problem. I'm hoping all of that can be avoided and that the main problem is the cross-server DF. One can only hope its the latter and not the former
they are CONSIDERING giving us a free week... so whatever that means.
I would rather have all characters data since early access wiped, get everyone back on a level playing field and able to log in like they are supposed to be. I don't give a crap about free days.
