From what I've seen through people streaming the fight is exactly like it was in 1.0. Now without the server lag issues the fight seems like it should be a hell of a lot easier. Like people have mentioned before, its been done in 1.0 and definitely easier now.
Also just a fun little thread from when Garuda came out in 1.0: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...Lodestone-Blog
Thats the kind of shit we had to do in 1.0 lol

Rage quitters just gives just them name and free company name a bad reputation. I've only seen people rage quit when they die over and over again and then get flamed for not paying attention, which is most of the time due to new players hitting level 50 and not understand anything about their class or the game. This is only going to get worse over the next few days/weeks with those people who should have never bought the game, finally getting this place. So hardmodes will not be as good as they are right now. Expect many many wipes and a string of rage quitters after the first wipe.

Please SE, increase the punishment for leaving a PT through Duty Finder. it cannot be possible that we have to wait 30/40 minutes to get to Garuda (hard), titan and other dungeons and find at the entrance we don't have full PT. Some people discriminate the jobs the pt has and they leave the instance. It happens all the time, specially with Garuda. Ragequit and 30 minutes of waiting lost.
