    Some mobs are too easy?

In my opinion, when I first started playing the game (beta and then CE release), the mobs were entirely too easy, I know there has been threads dedicated to battle overall and mobs, but I felt no one has confronted this issue. If you find a thread about mob toughness let me know I'll support that thread to decrease dev confusion.

Mobs are very easy to zerg in this game, the hardest part about mobs are that some have a very damaging tp attack and all mobs have a ranged attack. If you took these two things away the average mob could be zerged down with no penalty. I don't think a complete party wipe tp move is challenging when if they mob doesn't use it...its easy, if you get what I'm saying. An example is Imps, their tp move would wipe a party but other than that tp move they could easily be zerged. With the move to party sizes at max being 8 it could add difficulty to the game, but the mobs have always been lackluster and all around easy.

Do upper level leves on 5 star and try some actual NMs. These can't be zerged.

Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing

LOL i know this, I'm talking about just base mobs that you will go out in the wild and fight, and lower level leves. Higher level nms are where all the fun is, the only mobs worth casting an enfeeble on in this game are: nm leves, peistes and amaljaas (factions leve mobs and nm leves, some higher level leves, but not most). I've done most leves on 5 stars, with various group sizes, most of the strategy behind this is Mage be a cure bot, and dd's zerg. I don't know if this is fun for dd's but as a mage this isn't fun. I have tons of enfeebles I don't use until I get to nms and faction leves?....how does one learn to play their class then. Sorry for you XI hates I'm gonna use xi, as a rdm you learned to paralyze and slow the mob early on, you learned your buff rotation and how to keep it up, you pretty much could tell everything about rdm by level 50 or at least guess what you would be doing later on. Mages in XIV are being taught "keep your hand on cure at all times" in the beginning levels, and personally the current playerbase makes this a game focused on DD strategies, just as a mage I would like some difficutly to lower level mobs so people could actually learn about there class, if you didn't play XI or FF rpgs, you probably have no clue how to use half the enfeebles. [bio and dia stack GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, different thread I know]

meh those base mobs are meant for farming and casual play to waste some time. I like that i can farm immense amounts of materials for crafting and vendoring made some good gil while doing this.

There is some strategy involved when group SPing in the 40s. Peistes and Raptors for example. Depending on your ranks, their breath can one-time you, so positioning is key.

But I do agree ... for non-leve mobs there isn't much need for debuffs.
