I think they had a lot of good ideas, and yeah it was all rushed. I love how SE is always trying new things! These people would be like "LOL electicity? NO!" "LOL HUMANS FLYING? NO YOU'RE DUMB"

The dungeon finder system was one of the primary reasons that I left WoW.
1.) It destroyed the sense of community on the server.
2.) It destroyed any aspect of accountability for your actions.
3.) It destroyed any semblance of party strategy.
I really don't want to see that happen here, please.
They definitely need a better search function but I certainly don't want to see cross-server dungeons queues. The biggest reason why I've come to FFXIV is because I had the hope that the game would have the same type of community as FFXI, and I feel a cross-server dungeon queue would go against that.
I did read and you said "why they should do a cross-server copy-pasta from wow" and you also stated "the problem isn't the finder don't working properly."
both are horrid english writing and i am sorry if i miss understood your horrid english but these lines i see here are you saying it does indeed work. Also i love this game i am NOT on the hate train for SE im on the hate train for people like you who don't like change but voted for a huge change in the polls. This is change and copying wow is a good thing sometimes.
I personally never had problem.
I only did Behest, after that the chance to get a Random party is very high.
It is a good way to meet many people, so did i.
And im not in a Linkshell.
I am usually all for taking good ideas from other games and implementing them, I don't have the "It is not a clone" syndrome, a good idea is a good idea no matter what the game. That being said, Dungeon Finder in WoW really was a nail in the coffin for me.
WoW never had an amazing community like FFXI had but it was still at least some what of a community. Doing heroics in BC I grouped with a lot of the same people and became friends. WoWs addition of flying mounts and battlegrounds was one step into killing the game for me and Dungeon Finder was pretty much the last. These features killed any sense of world feeling and community the game ever had to me. It feels nothing more than a lobby game now. My warlock with 9k achievement points at the launch of Cataclysm will probably never get played again.
Looks like we are all out of luck with community, FF14 has one of the worst in any mmo even worse than WoW, nobody even speaks in this game half the time.
I really don't think something which helps with accessibility and ease of use would ruin the community anymore than it is.
I have a pretty good LS and that is all I need as far as community goes though, I had a great guild in WoW also and most times I used the dungeon finder was with 3-4 guild members anyways.

No, you're completely wrong. Actually, you're consistently wrong, every post you make is wrong.
I troll?_? I post nothing but constructive feedback, suggestions, and discussions. You're just completely wrong, a dungeon finder DESTROYS communities, and has NO PLACE AT ALL in a MMO like this. It's just a horrible idea.
