    Ironically enough Yoshida already stated when the battle system redesign is done they're going to redo the party seeking mechanics, which is why I'm not sure someone would even begin to mention it needs to be redone as it's already been slated to be redesigned.

    Doesn't mean they don't appreciate the input and idea's of their fans, the very reason why these forums exist.

    It seems to me that the dev's at SE haven't even played WoW, so perhaps they don't even realise what other MMO's are doing out there, I hope for Yoshi-p's sake he has played WoW.

    I'd like to think the secret to making a good MMO isn't "Go play WoW"
    So now anyone who hasn't played WoW is prohibited from making an MMO...
    Here is the long and short of it... SE's initial concepts didn't work... some of them were good ideas that were poorly implemented while others were just plain bad ideas.
    But having a bad idea doesn't mean you are forbidden from having any other ideas...
    Truth be told, I don't even think most were bad ideas... just rushed and unfinished
    MANY of the initial ideas and innovations could have worked if given enough love and effort....
    Right now SE is looking for a balance of reused MMO ideas and brand new innovations. And personally... I'm very much looking forward to what they come up with
    The only reason we are having all of these discussions is because, for the first time in SE history, we got to see a game this early in it's design phase
