seems like its impossible to join party unless you have good linkshell.
how about develop team create instant dungeon where other people from different server can join. that way at least we can have decent party and have fun.

the purpose of a MMO is for the community...Linkshells are the main community here. If People would actually LEARN how to use the party function, you would see more parties....but no, the community for this game is pretty.....ignorant..
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
Yup dub ignorance is bliss, wait till people actually realize how amazing the party combat is. For example the insane amount of sp to be gained by being in a balanced party, the incredinle dmg multiplier used when a br goes off. Yup being ignorant and soloing is just the way to go.
Fact is many looked at what was on the surface and were waiting for others to do the digging. They waited so long and now have nothing else to do than complain about se not catering to them specificaly.
I cannot wait to see more people learn the current combat system then learn what a mistake it was to whine se into changing. Just wait and see the new combat system will be super easy mode xiii style it does the killing for you. I like the combat system as it is, and people will be sorry its gone.

This is not WoW, this is not a western que up for gear bull, this is Final Fantasy XIV. If you want to sit in a town all day queuing for a instance you can go play the plethora of crap that is out there right now aka WoW, RIFT, AION, and so on.
agree i never want to see that bullshit what the point when i played wow i got good friends from other worlds but none on my own it's like wtf. WoW should just allow you to play on any server with same char lol.
btw they are adding instant dungeon but it wont be like wow so please don't go on here later saying wtf this is not a dungeon.

Yup and if they listen to the likes of you this game is guna fail.
Goes off on a similar rant "This isn't FF11 blah blah blah.."
BTW Aion isn't a western game.
Now you're talking BS, how many "JRPG's" have actually been MMO's, single player JRPGs aren't very community based at all, perhaps Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star but both of those are MO's.JRPG's have all ways focused heavily on the community as a whole, rather than whose gear score is better.

oh jeeze the wRPG vs jRPG arguments again, take that back to /v/
I would disagree with this point. Yes the current party search function is not used but people are far from ignorant, in fact I would argue that the populations are of a size now that I know and recognise most of the names I see when I'm online (even JP ones) and if I don't know them someone in my linkshell is in a linkshell they are in etc etc.
As for not getting a party - pick up your leves, go to camp and shout. I guarantee you it will not take long to get a group, or do a Behest and ask as it ends if anyone is doing leves. Talk to people, they'll talk back to you, it's that easy. It really is, people are just too shy to make that little bit of effort.
As for the party search function, it looks too complicated if you haven't used it and that's its downfall, people see complicated they think complicated. [Personally I'd just like to be able to put up a flag like FFXI, but that's just me.]

You are right AION was not a traditional Western MMO, but AION followed the same steps as western MMO's, and there is your example of a poor MMO IMO. and you must not be very observant because there are plenty of JRPG MMO's out there they are just not main streamed in NA like im sure everything you play.Yup and if they listen to the likes of you this game is guna fail.

i repeat i should have clarified AION (AION is also not a JRPG FYI), but outside of that you are speaking ignorantly research before you post outragous claims. In every single JRPG i have played the community was the main focus and every developer attempted to stay away from que dungeons.
O and ill also help inform you too of some of the JRPG MMO's:
1.blade chronicle online
2.shin megami tensei -megaten
3.FFXI
4.XIV
5.Dragon Ball Online (Korean/Japanese, but mainly korean)
6.Arad & Senki
Just because you don't see commercials on TV or your friends in school don't talk about these games does not mean they do not exist. Japan has a rich gaming culture and can support their own without releasing everything in NA, or ripping off Western MMO's concepts. There is a big world out there you should look into it.

I only play Japanese games... o.o (and not really the mainstream stuff either)
Don't call me ignorant though when your the one claiming JRPG's as the same genre as MMO's.
I know very well that Aion was korean.
Give me some examples of other Japanese MMO's though.
