    Select "Yes", then "business's product or service (other than a vehicle or cell phone)", then answer the military question and hit "Next".

    Search For: "Square Enix" and hit "Search".

    You will see "Square Enix, Inc Video Games - Dealers", hit "Select".

    If a "Select Business Location" window comes up, just select either - they are the same address.

    Fill out your information.
    Fill out your complaint information.
    Fill out more complaint details.

    This is the right way to complain. BBB is the Better Business Bureau, and while SE is being very opaque with their customer support, filling an official complaint is the way to go.

    The bbb is pointless. They are not a regulatory company. It does as much damage as complaining about a company on Angie's List. This isn't the 80's anymore, no one really cares about BBB.

    not exactly true, some companies care. I once about a year or two ago filed a BBB complaint on a company that would not replace a out of the box defective part I ordered, once they got wind of it, it wasn't too long after that they overnighted me my replacement!

    there are some companies out there that does care about their reputations to the public!

    but there is no disruption of service, service is simply being denied to some and allowed for some!

    Do you complain to the BBB every time you have to wait to get on an elevator? Or when a concert is sold out? We live in a (relatively) finite corner of the universe, can't have everything all the time for everyone.

    Edit to add:
    Or when a restaurant runs out of cheese? Or when the bus is full? I'm still not saying these are invalid complaints. I'm asking if they are BBB complaint worthy.

    lol BBB will not hurt SE in any way. My business pays the BBB every year to be on their list and ive never heard anything about complaints from them. To me BBB is a scam but decal looks nice in the window of the shop lol

    you do realize that in a way this has become, in large part, a player driven issue at this point.

    Initially, SE didn't have enough resources to support the load during peak times. Once the player base figured that out, a large enough percentage opted to log in during lower load times and have gone AFK, consuming slots needed for players to get on during peak times. If those greedyloxes would just log off when not playing, a large portion of the problem would go away.

    What exactly do you hope to gain from complaining there?
    Server related errors: issue is being solved as we rant about it, but takes time to purchase, transport, setup and test (Because you don't want new servers AND the same old errors on them).

    Time, that mystical magical thing. Time. Everything takes time. Just because you want it now does not mean you get it now. Time is required for all things. And patience is all that is required from you. So you want play as much as you want in the opening days of an MMO. So do thousands of other players. You aren't alone. You aren't special.

    Its not about some being denied and some being allowed. Also, if you want to place denial of service on anyone, take a long hard look at your fellow players.They log in, then go to bed, wake up and then go to work. 12 - 18 hours all told. All the while, they are logged in, denying you the service you crave and demand.

    I'm not going to link them here, but a quick look around the forums at what the Producer himself has been telling us, they know its a problem. They know it sucks. They're doing what they can. The servers are being tested. Errors are all related to server capacity, Compensation for all affected is being brainstormed. AFK Kick timers are being developed. All straight out of Yosh's mouth.

    They know. They're fixing. And thats all you need to know. Be patient. They will let us know when its fixed.
