All NA servers down?

There i was, 2 hours into attempting to log in. 273 clicks on the "log in" button... then... out of no where............. the entire NA server list disappears.


in the NA server column it says "unable to obtain the world list"
I just want to play the game i paid for... i have spent more time trying to log in then i have actually played since launch. It is ridiculous.
By the time iv managed to even get into game, im so unbelievably frustrated by having spent a few hours spamming a log in button... that iv lost close to all desire to even play.

Yep, apparently they've all gone bye-bye. The only maintenance notice is about the Japanese servers and the server list on the launch pad still show them as up, but they aren't there... This is incredibly frustrating and I've been doing this for nearly 15 years...

I have tried this a few times now
im determined to get into game as i dont think it is fair to write a review about the log in screen.


Edit: this worked on the 5th try. Guess its back to spam clicking log in .... all over again.

It doesn't work if the servers are down. I never click the retry button more than 5 or 6 times before restarting client. There are no servers the last 3 times I started the client.

We all want to get in...Hopefully this gets fixed soon. I have my figures crossed for Monday or sometime next week when they implement the new servers.

yes everything we are hoping for would be nice... the fact that they have yet to make any sort of announcement scares me though. If they dont want this attempt at an mmo to go like last time... they need to fix this asap. I personally am about to "log off" permenatly. I cant even get into the game.. Buying FFXIV is like.

this issue has already been addressed. . they are fixing the issue... yoshi said by beginning of next week they will have the new servers up and current ones with more storage .. and its been stated already that player transfer will be possible mid sept... he also said that he underestimated the amount of new players that were gonna play and he accepted responsibility for underestimating the numbers but they are working hard to fix it... until the new servers are up to alleviate the stress on the whole .. u will have to deal with the 1017 and que
