This is Absurd!

So last night I literally stayed up ALL night last night checking server status from about 10PM to 6:30AM just so I could create a character on Gilgamesh.

Except I NEVER could. Literally every other server except Gilgamesh and two other NA servers were character locked ALL NIGHT LONG. How the hell? Every other damn server I'm NOT interested in getting on is open enough to join.

I've seen SE's post about these login/character restrictions but this is still totally unacceptable, I've managed to make 3 characters on each on a different server, EU, JP, and ONE on North America...but why am I going to waste my time leveling a character that i'll have to pay a transfer fee for later because I can't play with any of my friends?

I DON'T GET IT S.E.! Just tell everyone you'll give them ONE FREE TRANSFER within the next month or something and everyone will stop being so damn mad at you and we'll just shut up and play alone on another server.
(i'm certainly not paying for a transfer on the account of SE's poor planning)

I've played this game a grand total of about 4 hours and 0 of those hours were during 'early access' time...and my free 30 days is slowly ticking away while I still can't play.

I should not have to spend an entire night watching Netflix and refreshing your server status every 5 minutes just to never get to play with my friends.

I can't remember the last time I've been so irked by a game, and i'm beginning to wish I demanded a refund during early access...because I swear it looks like I'm never going to be able to play this game (on the proper server)
...and even when they do fix all these server issues I bet it'll still be a few weeks from now before it's actually working as intended...which of course by that time half or more of my free 30 days is gone.

Gilgamesh has never opened for character creations since the first morning of early access. A lot of big name groups such as reddit, the RP community, and many other groups chose Gilgamesh as there server. It was the first to lock up and will most likely be the last to unlock and wouldn't expect to see it for awhile.

Wont be happening today either, Saturday afternoon on a new MMO making a character on any server will be impossible, you know unless SE pulls their head out of their ass......then maybe...

Since all of the NA servers are apparently down, it most definitely will not be happening today. Sorry, dude, I feel your pain.

Gilgamesh is the most populated server and will not be opening any time soon. We have Reddit, Something Awful, and the RPC on the same server. During B4 and Early Access it made up 15-20% of the overall population. In short: unless the population dies down due to disinterest or the server architecture is reworked to a shard system, Gilgamesh will probably not open up for some time.

I wouldn't keep worrying about your free period either. They have said they are looking into extending the free period, so in a way it will make up for time lost.
