I'm from Behemoth but I'm thinking of transfering to a JP server so I thought I would do some survey before doing that...

Do you have much latency issue playing from Australia (assuming you're) in Ixion server? And do you have much login issues as well or all is good?

Hi there, welcome to the thread and thank you for your inquiry; I’ll do my utmost best to assist you =]

From what I have experienced, I receive almost half the latency when I ping the Japan data server than when I ping NA. I have so far had no problems in regard to lag. As with other servers during these early days, there are some login issues; I haven’t grown frustrated by them. Typically I am in after a few tries (If not the first time). This depends mostly on the time of day however.

Choose a server that you think has a good community, over one that you think may experience less issues with as the login issues should be resolved as early as next week. Transfers I think come in mid-September, so you have quite a bit of time to think about it (and survey as you are!) =] So I’m confident you’ll make the right decision for you.

hmmm however, I've a character on Kujata just to try things out. Every time I fail to login onto Behemoth due to Error 1017, I manage to login without needing a second try onto Kujata, hence proving my point that the new servers are less populated. Behemoth is almost full 24/7 regardless of the time of login.

Anyway, I've decided to transfer (80%?) to on of the new JP server that will be added this coming 4th of September (just found out about this piece of news few hours ago). We shall see...

I believe that is due to Japan server congestion. This issue should be resolved sometime this week.
