New player here, just got to 50, beat story, doing instances and dungeons.

So I enter a hard mode ifrit fight, which is easy, but the other healer kept healing with cleric stance and only used cure once in awhile and would stop it if he thought i was healing the person he was, while I did the heavy work.

Now that's not the problem. We had several wipes, I grew tired, there was nobody with aoe limit break for the nails so I said I'm tired and going to go.

You get the idea, I was totally caught off guard. This wasn't the only case but this made me feel really sad. I found a legacy player who kept telling me healing was so easy, and that I shouldn't be saying my job is hard, and I'm new? My job isn't hard, but you have to be pretty quick reacting to emergencies and swiftly activate moves and cross class actions.

I just can't see myself wanting to do duty finder anymore even though I've had good experiences.

anyhow... sorry to hear you got a nasty group ( this only applies if, this answers were note provoked. since the info given is incomplete and very bias).

just blacklist them and look for a nicer group of people. i have been playing this since beta of 1.0 and has yet to have blacklisted someone, maybe im to nice and everyone loves me or i have good good luck

Lol I did the titan fight last night and I said it was my first time. Titan kept pushing me and the healer off the rock and the tank and DPS kept on calling us f**king morons and telling us we need to learn to play in the end the tank bailed on us.

I usually just laugh at people like that. It enrages them even more. Something like "LMAO, yep going take a looooonnnng nap. Have fun without me!!" It makes them so mad, you're leaving and they can't control that. You just can't let that stuff get to you and must show them it doesn't get to you. Then remember who they are and don't ever associate with them again....that's my 2c anyway.

Anyway, it is easy for me, I couldn't help that others didn't know their role in the stragety.

And it has no bias, it was taken from the chat log directly. All I said was I'm done and tired. That gives no right for people to say such things, never does anyone deserve that.

This sort of thing is pretty common on the internet, just ignore them. Maladjusted individuals and internet rage go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Yesterday I experienced a lovely individual through the duty finder who was this same way. He was on everyone's ass, cussed people out, and was overall too self-absorbed for my liking.

It sucks, but we share the world with these people, and they really seem to flock to mmo's. I ignore them and focus on the task at hand.

If I do duty finder again, I'll just have to suck it up, but glad I made this thread, it's nice to hear similar stories, thought I was alone
