Having to click constantly is just beyond painful.
I would be so closer to a happier camper if I could just sit in a queue and wait.
Having to click start over and over again to get a 1017 is just ridiculous.

Really I just wish I could log onto my character and attempt to enter the game... Quit whining and start spamming numpad 0.
You, sir and/or madam, are my savior of the day. I didn't know one could spam 0 for the log in. I've been clicking and clicking and clicking and... ugh. This is truly more efficient. Of course, I'm still not getting in, but still.
Thanks. xD
I agree 1000%. The point of a queue is to get people into the game in an efficient way. With such a short queue, you have to get lucky to even into the queue. And to add to the issue, people stay logged in all day to avoid losing their spot in the world.
They need to do these 3 things ASAP:
1. increase queue
2. implement AFK timer
3. increase server sizes

There was a post about them addressing all the issues but sadly I don't have the link and I can't find the thread that I seen it in.I agree 1000%. Increasing server sizes takes time. You'll just have to wait on them to do so. Think of it as a test of patience; it should happen soon and have been working on it ASAP since EA, and I'll bet SE will never be frugal with servers ever again.I agree 1000%. Increasing queue might not help either. I don't know how it's coded or what protocol is causing error 1017, but maybe it's tied in with queue times? Maybe they just kick you out of queue when the timer exceeds a certain time limit like 24 hours + (Just a shot in the dark). Personally if the queue had me wait over 24 hours to get in, I don't feel like it's worth waiting to play (I've got other games begging me to give them attention). But that's just me.
As for afk kickers, I don't really know why that's not implemented really. There are a lot of people out there that just don't log out ever and tbh it's annoying to me too just watching them stand there, and what's worse is that some of the people who are logged in are just gil selling bots or power leveling salesmen. There really needs to be some sort of report feature in game to deal with those kinds of people and at least let people who want to play play.

Error 1017 KICKED ME OUT OF QUEUE. I don't think that it's a queue size problem; there's something wrong with the coding for it all together.
I mean seriously. How does that even happen?

You guys don't get it. you get the 1017 for a reason. they have already stated there are login restrictions in place. they cannot change it to a queue. that doesn't address the issue. the issue being there simply isn't enough server space for all of us yet. they address this in the link above.
I'm just as annoyed as everyone that I can't sit down and login right when I want to, but as a server administrator, I completely understand why they are doing this. letting all of us on at the same time will crush their clusters, basically bringing the game to a halt for eveyone on all worlds. you ever seen load on a 32core box sky-rocket to 200? you ever try to gain control over a box that load has sky-rocketed to over 200 without it OOM'ing?
