What To Expect From Bloodrite
Social and Friendly. While we do have goals to participate in end-game raiding, we also know that a welcoming environment is a needed basis for a fun, long-lasting FC/LS. Even after we attain enough capable people for raids we'd still like to retain our social aspect, which means friends and family are always welcome to join.
Adult Players. Please understand our general policy is revolving around how you ACT, not your actual age. We have seen many people who are well over 18 yet act like they are tweens, and we have seen people under the age of 18 who act very mature. If we find you do not meet this requirement, you will be wished the best of luck elsewhere.
Lightheartedness. We all like to come home from work and relax, to horse around and joke about with one another. Being adults we do not take swearing as offensive as we are thick-skinned people. This is applied to generally any topic you could think of as long as people are joking around and not actually targeting others to hurt. Essentially, anything goes within reason.
What Bloodrite Expects From You
Cooperation. Need help or suggestions? ASK! Know the answer to a question being asked within FC/LS chat? Answer it! The whole point of a FC is to be a resource for one another. Be it answering questions, getting help, asking for tips and pointers, needing someone to craft something... You get the idea. If everyone helps out, the guild will flourish and your fellow gamers will thank you.
General Knowledge. While we are more than happy to answer questions and help others, we are not a guild that caters to people who want to be lazy. We will not mule-run you through instances, we won't give you free stuff you could easily get yourself, and we won't tolerate people who whine for such things. We are here to help empower our fellow players, not give them a case of the lazies.
Courtesy. If you have a disagreement with someone else, do not drag your arguments into the FC/LS chat. You will be expected to settle your differences in whispers with one another, or to use the ignore function, like adults.
Class know-how. We all have to start somewhere right? The difference is we expect you to know your class, preferably well, if you intend on raiding once you hit maximum level so we can start picking people for raids.
Maturity. As previously mentioned we base this off of how people act. This is NOT a guild for those easily offended with every little thing. This IS a guild for people who want a haven from the typical immature chatter and can take a few playful hits along with delivering them all in stride.
Joining Bloodrite
All we ask from potential new members is to contact either the Overseer, Warlord, or a Vanguard in-game and politely ask for an invite. That's it, it's really that easy. As time progresses and we start looking for raiders, we will probably take a few minutes of your time to ask which aspect of the FC you'd like to join. That way we can get a feel for how you work, and you can get a feel for how we work.
We have a Facebook page, but no stand-alone website to visit. The reason for this is that we know most members do not actually use their FC websites, and usually it's just a funnel for people to apply on. While we do look for quality players for raids, we know that the application process is obnoxious and see no need to utilize such a tool until a time occurs when we cannot directly speak to each interested individual. We would prefer to take a personal approach and see what a player is capable of in-game, rather than coldly directing them to apply on some website before they could even be considered for an invite.
