Add tokens to get gear to dungeons in addition to normal loots.

Personally im not fond of running a dang dungeon 60 times just to try and get a pieces of mage gear i really like the looks of. For instance Brayflox's Longstop. And battlemage gear... ive run this dang thing 60 times just to get the hat and pants, and the only time i see the pants drop a healer rolls for it.. much less the hat

Just make it where we can trade some tin pieces or tokens of some sort in order to finish our set. That way we dont have to run this dungeon till the gear is of no longer use..

I think that would be a fair thing in addition to the regular drops. Anyone agree?

What difference would it make if he were 50 or not? The system doesn't change enough to invalidate his concerns. You spam dungeons for enough Chuck E. Cheese tickets to get gear.
You do the same in lower levels, just replace the tickets with RNG.

Evil is Evil. Lesser, greater, middling… Makes no difference.

I agree with the OP on this one. I have done countless dungeons to get the Foestriker's mits and have yet see one drop. It is the on piece I need to complete that stupid sets. I started to noticed inside the game Not a lot of people have the mits...meaning it really does not drop that often. I am just lucky the boots drop the other day...seen maybe 2 people with the boots

Want. You WANT to complete the sets. The tokens you're looking for you get at 50 for every run, theres not enough reason in lower levels dungeons to do that, you progress through levels fast enough as it is that sitting to farm a set of gear that you will only use for maybe the next 3 levels is pointless considering how fast levels come. This isnt like XI where every piece of gear for every stat matters. The fact of the matter is that "farming" for gear pre 50 is for aesthetic reasons.

You're a GLD, try being a caster when the variation in your gear is whether it has a hood or not, it might not be important to you, but looking at the same hideous old skin over and over gets a little tiresome.

hey yeah because the heavy darklight set isnt one of those sets that doesnt let you wear a helmet, nope, gld/war are just spoiled fashionistas

i dont know why people farm low level sets, i think anything like transmogrification being implemented into this game is unlikely. what do you do with them, roleplay or something?

Oh, the privileged life I lead as a Paladin

As Delorean said, if you haden't noticed my portrait, I'm in Darklight armor.. Which not only does not let me use "/visor", during battle it also always makes my head point slanted like I stare at the enemy with a lazy eye. Also i'm going to be stuck with this armor for a long, long ass time until I can get my AF2 chest and head.

I feel the original poster's pain. I'd love to get the Acolyte set for my conjurer here. I've been one 15 runs and had the boots drop once (won by the dps caster) and the legs drop twice (when I was the only clothy.) Not fun trying to get the pieces you want.
