Seems that new game smell is wearing off a little bit

As you guys may or may not have noticed, all the excited threads about a new final fantasy MMO are dying out, and being replaced with the stuff from the beta boards.

Some people will continue to defend this game with their life forever. But the flaws or shortcuts this game has will make it short lived.

I dont know how they can really fix this stuff, because they have already went too far.

Too much button spam.
Too many useless spam quests for a sliver of xp.
Summoner has to be an inside joke at SE on all summoner fans.
All equipment binds.
There is still no auction house. The market board is not good enough. Why cant we buy just one out of a stack?
Archer / bard just doesnt make any sense. A harp bow... really?
Item repairs arent as bad as they used to be, i still hate em tho.
The armory system is just bad, and it screws over the jobs attached to them.
Equipment stats are boring.

Seems there is just alot of half assed design decisions, that may or may not have anything to do with the PS3.

Naa, what im saying is, they are continuing to ruin the FF franchise, and adding to the dumbing down of MMO's in general.

all of these are completely asinine and, tbh, can hardly be called real problems with the game that completely ruin the experience. some of them aren't even real problems, just a matter of your personal preference clashing with the game.

i'll give you the bit about equipment stats, though. they are fairly boring, but i'm hopeful it's something they'll address in the future.

yes the equipment stats they messed up should of used the same system as 1.0, static numbers all we have now higher the level the better.

You either havnt played summoner, or havnt been reading those threads.

Summoner used to be one of my favorite classes.. But FF summons haven't been any good since about 10. The summon designs for this game just look.. awful. hopefully with expansions summoners will be able to call on interesting, cool looking beasts.

I'm not going to make a decision till I reach end game, but I see where you're coming from.
The game mechanics are 10 years old. Stats are pretty much useless, there is no skill diversity, etc. etc.
Though I do like the crafting even though everything I've crafted so far is useless.

Anyhow, brace yourself for the white knights, cause they are coming.

I agree this game has plenty of flaws and I know what you are trying to say but you have GOT to understand you do nothing but hurt our case for valid concern by posting this kind of thing. Make a well thought out post if you want to convince people things need to change.
