    Website popup, unusable lodestone.

    When I visit the lodestone I am (always) greeted with a modal popup that has two options. I can visit the promo site, or I can visit the "how to get started" site. This happens if I try and go to the lodestone from a forum link (to say, view a character), or if I go to the main lodestone page, or if I click on any link while at the lodestone.

    This popup is modal and does not let me access the actual page I went to (although it shows it behind the popup) and it shows up every time I visit the page or refresh the page, It does not matter how many times I have clicked on either of the options, or what computer I use to visit the page (its the same on my desktop, my laptop, and my work computers), its always the same issue.

    I am able to view the site only by using Chrome's development tools to delete the DOM elements related to the popup, but this is a temporary stop gap and if I click on any links on the page, it shows it yet again.

    Once, in the thirty or forty times I have been greeted with this popup, I was certain it had a third option to close the popup, but it was so many times ago and never happened again that I am beggining to think I imagined it.

    Please fix this popup. A way to close it would be nice, and a way to remember that you already seen the popup (cookies), would be nice.

    I should note that the vast majority of times I visit the lodestone I am _not_ logged in to my SE account (I do not carry my one-time-password device with me). I doubt this plays any role in the issue as I am logged in right now and still does it.

    Only found this thread addressing the issue. And yes: it is an issue. I completely stopped the Lodestone because of this.

    Click outside in the greyed area to get rid of the popup and you will have the proceede to lodestone button. This is annying because 1998 is calling - the years of "browser specific websites" is LOOOONNNNNGGGG gone please...

    Isnt it just going to get your profile bio, preferences and stuff? I mean I configured it once and never had to again.
