I was one of the lucky people who bought the game without early access in the 12 hours before sales were cancelled. Since then, I've been faithfully waiting for the chance to access Leviathan, where a dozen of my friends have a guild.

I don't mind waiting to gain access to Leviathan, but I am concerned with the pattern of failure so far. There doesn't seem to be any indication (aside from a lengthy apology and vague promise of "next week") that this will get better, and there's no indication that you're expanding the capacity of the servers, as opposed to just adding more new worlds.

I would pay to get onto Leviathan. My big concern is that you will leave Leviathan and other high-traffic servers permanently locked, and will resume online sales before allowing those of us who have toughed it out over the past week to get into the server of our choice. With regard to the players who work full time (and thus have more money to spend on your game), we can't be expected to wait for a 4 AM surprise unlock for 5 minutes.

So, a few suggestions:

  1. Introduce paid server transfers
  2. Allow groups of players to request the transfer of friend's characters to their world
  3. Announce a schedule for opening locked worlds so that people who have been waiting will know what their window is
  4. Create a character creation queue so players can request entrance to a server without sitting in front of their computer all day and night.
