My girlfriend's account (purpledove82) cannot log in on ps3, no service account lol

I just paid for the game, attached the ID to her account. When I go to my profile under square account logged in as her it shows both preorder early access and the id i just registered that came with ps3. when i try to log in with her on ps3, i click "I already have a square enix account" and purpledove82 is already filled in from early access. Then when i put in password and log in it says no service account. It most definitely does have a service account. I can't even post with her account on forums because I need a character created but there's no character attached to her account BECAUSE I CAN'T LOG IN.

This is extremely frustrating. Please help resolve.

    Thanks/

    I hear ya man!

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...stered-Account

I am unable to login correctly. When I start up Final Fantasy it says

    "Welcome to Final Fantasy XIV!

The following steps are required in order to begin playing Final Fantasy XIV. Please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the required procedures.

Set up a Square Enix account.
Link your Sony Entertainment Network Account.
    Confirm Purchase information."

I have done all these things in the past but, I hit continue anyways as I am given no other options. It proceeds to a screen that has a link reading "I currently possess a Square Enix account." and no other links. I click on the link and a screen to input my information pops up. After I input my information it tells me either that their has been suspicious activity on my account and that I need to reset my password (which I have done twice now), or I get a message saying "No valid service account available to play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In order to play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, you must first purchase the digital download from the PlayStationStore or register a product code. *Please restart the client for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn." But I have already bought the game, and I have already registered my product, and I have already started creating characters and playing as such characters.

Anyone else experience this? If so what have you done or what has Square Enix told you regarding the issue?

I have sent in a report to Square Enix through their contact links. At the end I was given a ticket number and told to use it when contacting the support center. I have been unable to find a place to input this number and as such not sure if I have been contacted about the issue.

    Same here

I have had the same issue all day and its very nerve racking to say the least. I uninstalled the game 3 times, redownloaded it, reinstalled both the ps3 digital and the main disc versions and it goes right to that screen you previously mentioned to buy a copy of the game again. I feel like for all the bugs that most all of us have been through and the amount of character down time that means little to no progression its insanity. If this was a somewhat free to play situation or if the client wasn't a pay situation that i had to pay for 2 times then maybe it would not push me so much on this but clearly either the game truely wasnt ready for mainstream release or like so many other titles that are aaa titles where developers have a time frame to get it out and start generating revenue. Either way, its a mess. I hope they can get this right but when one bug is gone 5 more come in and this cycle repeats. Many groups say these things happen to all mmos all the time but most of these bugs are pretty major and when you have money on the line in this economy the players must feel the pain like i do i would think at least. I really hope that we can get to some usability at some point. It really looks like most of these huge client bugs are from super tight security to prevent piracy that is back firing. I appreciate SE trying so hard to protect us and thier investment but maybe its a little overboard. I hope the devs get a break in this and get things moving soon with all these types of login bugs.

you need to register your retail 12 digit code on your psn account.

Early access is not the retail code, you should of received a new one.

Thanks for trying but i did all that 2 times. I never got a chance to use my pre code because i lost it so both copies were using the retail codes and now its day 2 and it says my copies are not valid. I emailed SE but they sent me emails back stating they were over whelmed with support emails and all that. I saw there is other threads with way more people about this issue too that some say its the pre code problem and others didnt have pre codes and are using retail ones like me. I didnt want to buy 2 copies but i figured i lost out somehow. Especially when support gave me the run around and claimed i was either using a jailbroken ps3 or something like that to pirate the game even tho i bought both copies directly from SE and they had all my info in front of them. I dont use jailbroken garbage because i like my multiplayer abilities and the ability to not have to worry about bans from my plus paid account ect. But, clearly that's the go to statement when a call and emails come through their system claiming what i and so many others claimed. From what i dug up on the net that may have plagued the 1.0 version at some point by hackers ect but SE beefed up the security who knows how much. Maybe too much. Hopefully this gets resolved for the others and it carries over to me as well when they can get a resolution. Until then, im not going to buy another copy or recommend this game until the bugs that render the game un playable are somehow addressed. It sucks to see in game bugs but at this point im sure most of us would gladly deal with those issues compaired to being exiled because who knows what. Thanks tho. I would try anything other than more money at this point.
