PC controller targeting filters are broken.

Win8/64 + official MS wireless 360 controller. I've set every single targeting filter (on both tabs) to enemies only, but "A button" clicking still targets pets and Fate NPC's. Possibly PS3 as well. See here for others affected: http://ffxiv.zam.com/forum.html?foru...86514826911#14

Like the OP on the link you posted, I have Character Config > Control Settings > Filters set so that "While weapon is drawn" I target enemies only.

But, I'm still targeting pets, NPCs, and almost anything else constantly while in combat stance/weapon unsheathed. It seems to be a bigger issue in groups or where their is a lot in the same area (eg Fates)
I'm using Xbox 360 wired controller on PC, and selecting with A, then scroll targeting with the directional pad.

It is extremely frustrating as I am an archer, and makes it impossible to do Fates. And hard to do instances.

Concur in witness to this on PC, will file a bug report if it has not aready been done. Filters do not ... filter.

I had the same problem happen today too. With the filter to engaged enemy I couldn't target a mob in front of me be with the target shuffle button L1 or with the D-pad with the crossbar off, but it picked the pet of the SCH in the pet. I had to rely on the mouse to target.
