Idle Auto- Log OFF please.

Sorry to say i was planning, like many other players and friends, to use the weekend to play FF14AR since we can't do much in the midweek, but is currently impossible due the overpacked servers that even a re-roll on another not is solving the problem.

The only way to play this game right now is login in the dawn and let the game on for the rest of the day. But besides the limited server capacity the other problem is the large amount of idle players everywhere, they are just saving their spot for later.

Than we have a stupid cicle that no one wan't to log off and everyone that , after hours of mashing the character screen, get in will just never log off again due the problems.

So the server is full all the time and some are jus idle players. Just put an idle log off for the god sake.

Most games log out idle player so I do agree with the need to do this.

That being said, I don't believe this is the sole problem with the servers. When we get Lobby Server errors, World full errors and missing world server lists there is more going on than just idle players. Lobby Server errors cause people to log in over and over again by bringing up the application and re-entering id's and password(s). The World full error cause people to click on the Start link over and over and each time there is a process that has to go out and check the world servers. When the lists are empty the same thing has as to the World full error. I've been in the queue once today then kicked out with a World full error. The network/processing traffic from all of these issues including the idle players and the ability to handle it is real problem.

I wish we'd get a notification from SE regarding the issue. All I'm seeing this morning is news about the JP servers not the NA/EU servers.

The last update from the Producer said that they have plans to implement auto-logoff, but that it would not fix the problems. Therefore, the server upgrades have been put ahead of it. So, do not expect this until well after the new worlds open up.

It's pretty easy to design a macro for an afk-er to take a couple steps forward/back every couple minutes, so yea that wouldn't really help.
