4 days later still a nightmare to get on

Its been 4 days sense the regular launch and my logon abilities have decreased. Its getting worse I don't even see any progress no new servers no increased capacity friends waiting to make a character on my server. This is getting rather annoying. But I love the game when I do get to play

Read them all they say there fixing yet nothing ever fixes. Most mmos fix this issue quicly whats wrong with SE.

Nope. They say they're fixing and they give an estimate of when it will be fixed. The estimate is early next week. It is currently NOT early next week. If early next week comes and it's not fixed, feel free to resume complaining/creating more useless threads that we already have 5 million of and that nobody is glad you created.

Oh, you've been playing those magical MMO's that have fixed these issues in less than a week? No MMO that had server issues due to overpopulation fixed it in one week. Try a month.

I totally agree with the OP, this service is unacceptable. I have been trying to login now for 4 hours...

Needless to say I love this game otherwise I wouldnt have st and spammed my controller for 4 hours to try and play. Transfer me to another world, restrict my access once im in, do whatever you want but don't make me waste my one day off this week watching the login screen, totally unacceptable.

I am pleased to see that someone held his hands up and shouldered the responsibility for the negligent forecasting, now lets get this thing fixed so i am not wasting my day off next week... Although my wife will probably have other plans for me... at least it wont be SEs fault :P

I havent tried yet today but im hoping to at least play on Phoenix for a few hours since I havent play any since monday (not cos'of server problems but because 5 nights of night shift dont leave me much time to play).

If I cant get on I'm not gonna bitch as SE are well aware of the problems and are working as quick as possible to fix them. I mean Yoshida sent out that letter/forum post other day apologizing for it and explaining that expanding the servers takes time since they have to build them, install the software that makes FFXIV tick and then internally test them before they go live so we don't have more server problems.

Also SE are pretty honest with us and good in terms of compansating us, their extending the free-trial period for all of us to make up for it. I guess its gonna be October before they even start billing us at this rate!

Just chill out and it will be fine!
