    I'm still getting this error after 24 hours, changing the active character setting in the lodestone doesn't work for me. Help square?

    WTF! After spending over an hour trying (& failing) to log in this morning, I thought I would leave it at least five hours & after ten failed attempts, things seem to be just as bad.

    To add insult to injury though, Square-Enix have posted a new apology/report entitled "Recovery from Several Worlds Login Difficulties (Sep. 1)" which claims that the problem is now fixed & only actually existed for 15 mins "From Sep. 1, 2013 16:20 to 16:35 (GMT)". It is now "18:39 GMT" & nothing seems to have changed at all since yesterday! (i.e. Assorted errors rangeing from 'Error in Lobby Server', 'Can't see NA/EU Servers' & of course 'Connection Lost 10102')

    I have been trying (& failing) to log into 'Moogle' & according to the official list all the NA/EU Servers are 'Online', but it would be interseting to know just how many players are allegedly logged in on any of the NA/EU Servers.

    Does anyone actually know of anyone that is currently playing on any NA/EU Server at all?

    A lot of MMOs have integrated their web presence with the main account. Consider this-

    There is NO AFK kick currently in FFXIV. In most MMOs, if you DC the character is left in the world and you can't log into another one until it has timed out. Is there a timeout for FFXIV? I'm not sure there is... every time I have experienced issues it has been due to a disconnect- I get DCed, and can't log into my main thanks to the fact that the server is full of AFKers and the que is full- 1017. I can't log into another toon because my main is still active on my account because I didn't log out gracefully (got DCed)

    Unfortunately, I've made other characters to give me something to do while I wait for my main but since I've never actually played them, they don't yet "exist" to Lodestone- my only option is my main.

    Going through Lodestone and changing characters is basically forcing your bugged character to log out of the game and allowing you to log into another, otherwise who knows. I bet my main is still standing next to the tree I was logging when I DCed as I type this, hours later.

    Same got this error as well on Moogle. Why did i have to go and log out never knew this would happen!

    I don't care what the announcement says, the log in error is soooooooo not fixed. I'm getting every thing from a lobby error (2002?) to lost server connection when I'm finally able to login (10102). I'll put up with having to spam logging in because the world is full (for now) but that there's not even a possibility of me getting just burns my corn bread.
