    I think it's working as intended. It puts a few minutes between log-in attempts by their customers instead of a few seconds. It's a bad solution to the issue of congestion, considering that the only reason people make multiple login attempts is because the game is not queuing people... but the fact that the error numbers cycle like that seems to be by design rather than actual errors.

    If any of the people handling the servers are reading this, the solution to stabilize the servers is to let people queu up on every login into a world. People will wait their turn. But if you make it seem like it's a random error, people are going to keep trying to log in until they get 'lucky'.

    Getting the same error 10102 on Cactuar trying to log into south shroud. This is rediculious.

    Can someone (honestly/intelligently) tell my why I get 10102/90000/no NA/EU server errors over and over while, not 5 feet away, my other computer has a stable in-game connection to Excalibur? I cannot understand what is different between the two of them. Thanks.

    I believe this has something to do with the game still believing your character is logged in and therefore nothing is forcing it to log out (should be some kind of ping checking going on I would think, but seems not to be). So people who have got the lodestone trick to work, I guess the logging in on another character and back in on your regular character tricks the server into evaluating the character status. The lodestone trick did not work, but I am attempting to log in with a character on another server. I am getting 1017, which means it's attempting to connect but server is full. I feel a successful login will cause the game to reevaluate my logged in characters and maybe kick off one or both.

    So, either through sheer coincidence or the fact that it worked, I am now logged back into my main character (Even without having to fight through 1017 errors). So I created a character on a JP server, went through all the initial cut scenes till I was able to see everyone else that was playing. I proceeded to exit the game, relogin through the launcher, and load my character (even without 1017 errors). Yay!

    Based on the the fix I suggested working for most players (PC only) the 10102/90000/no NA/EU server errors are occurring because your main character's (the one currently connected to the loadstone page) connection is bugged in the server side database. When players log out of it and into another one on the page it releases this connection lock because the loadstone is a control panel of sorts, its literally pulling information from the game server to the page, thus why it works vice versa, information from page to database.

    For the PS3 version, you're kinda screwed until they refresh the connections if there's no loadstone resolution.
