If square made the game have challenges half the casual community would rage they do not have time for something like that... see any mainstream mmo out there. (look how many people are rage quitting wow because of cataclysm making it too "hard"....lolz)

I think this is basically the future of MMOS now, honestly in many ways the whole videogame genre. Easy, simplistic, overly rewarding, solo focused, and short uninvolved activities. Everything that defined a mmo casuals tend to hate... so the chances of the genre having any bit of challenge or in-dept gameplay is pretty much out the window.

The MMO era is over. You have the online rpg era and the MSO(massive soloplayer online game) now.
