Error 2002 - Official 'Fix' Does not apply.

Trying to log in this morning, was being hit with the 'Unable to Update NA/EU character list', much like many others and then suddenly get hit with error 2002 'The lobby server connection has encountered an error.' Anyone else have this happen to them?

To note, I have read the official sticky, please don't direct me there. This error occurred on the same PC I have been using to play, there were not any changes in Port forwarding on the network, no new programs were installed, the computer was not restarted so all programs that were running when it was working are still running. All of my routers are working fine, there is no problem on my network or my machine.

Having the lobby server error this morning as well, mate. Nothing has changed on my pc...was playing literally 8.5 hours ago perfectly fine.

It gives me something along the lines of "lobby server connection" issues. Everything was fine last night. Nothings changed other than I can't play - again.

Was getting this earlier today as well. I reseted my whole computer then the launch let me through afterwards.

I was playing on one of the few NA/EU servers not currently full, so i decided to log out and see if my main's server was available to queue seeing as its offpeak times. Was kicked from the lobby with the same 2002 error.

I get that error occasionally. The last time it happened, the game crashed right after. I just chalk it up to overly aggressive queue adjustments, or high latency. I'm still confident all this will go away in a few days.

I've been getting this error on PS3 consistently and I've tried everything short of reinstalling the game. Let's hope it doesn't come to that...

Try right clicking the launcher icon and running it as administrator. This has worked for some people (I can't take credit for the idea), though I don't understand why this works, since I don't believe the client has updated since last night, and I wasn't having that problem last night. But hey, whatever.
