How To Unlock The Dragoon Class (Plain And Simple lol)

While I am a Dragoon now, I wasn't always and I had a hard time finding a definitive answer about how to unlock the Job Class. At the time the threads I looked at were unsure about which secondary class to level to get the Dragoon class. So for all those who couldn't find the answer, can't find the answer currently, and to all those fellow Dragoons in the future, here is the answer you've been looking for!

1) Start the game as a Lancer lol
2) Level up Marauder to 15 (You don't have to complete the lvl 15 guild quest)
3) Level up your Lancer to 30
4) Complete your level 30 Lancer guild quest to unlock the Dragoon quest
5) Complete the Dragoon quest

As I mentioned before I am a Dragoon now and here is a picture to prove it. You're welcome. Nya! =^_^=

no idea why it seems to be dragoons (not other jobs) that this is in question with so much. 3 other threads about dragoons all came up with "30 lancer 15 mara". was this still in question?

The other threads might be clearer now, but I just felt like explaining it in my own words. Also, like I said "AT THE TIME" every thread I looked at people were uncertain about the issue. I just wanted to make sure this info was available to all simplistically and clearly =)

Thank you =) I say go with whichever character appearance you have the most attachment towards. Even though I've created one character of each race during Phase 3 and still have the saved data, I've been Miqo'te since Alpha and I still love my Miqo'te girl the best =^_^=

Now if they implement the Viera race, THAT is going to be a hard choice to make (Shudders) lol =P

A bunny dragoon sounds so appropriate! Your signature is so adorable! The Lalafell are so cute! And, a little Lalafell falling on your head sounds great. XD But! Miqo'te are my favorite of the races. Hello I just finished up the Eye of the Dragoon quest.. but it didn't really change my job to Dragoon.. i don't have any more quests in the Lancer guild so I'm not sure what im missing.. pls help?

well i like your info it simple and clear ^^ i'm a fellow dragoon(in-training) and just wondering bout the subjob i needed to talk. i i see all over the place some say mrd some say pug still. ah well, 15 mrd not that hard to knock out.
