Hatching Tide hats?

My only concern is that the limited timeframe of the event might not be enough in which to figure it out. Especially if more of it requires 8-12 hour wait times like the eggs for the Pristine hat.

That aside, I much prefer events that require thinking and figuring to "push button, get reward"

Just noticed the Spriggans beside the 2 NPCs in Limsa are holding a chocobo egg and a midnight. Probably just decoration.

Well, might be coincidence, but did anyone do the quest of the elezen in front of Jihli? That quest send you to a rand new spot with around 12 spriggans clustered.

I've done that Spriggan quest, it's in no way related to this easter event.

I just did the Spriggan thing tonight as well. Definitely no relation.

If there are more egg hats to obtain, I think it would be through crafting. The elemental eggs have no decorations on them. Try them out in goldsmithing or something.
Also can anybody read Japanese? They might have some insight to the event.
I honestly believe some people are looking into it too much... Alters and nest and what not... bit far fetched.

This ain't the thing, guys At Eorzeapedia already tried that... it don't appear to have anything related to crafting.

Even as we speak, the Dreamer's congregation continues to grow, but is this phenomenon truly a result of the masses belief in the prophecy Jihli sings, or is it something else that drives them, something less divine? It was only after further investigation, that I learned Jihli is offering specially crafted "egg caps" to all those who assist her in preparing for the Hatching Hour. Could it be that material lust is the true driving factor behind this festival's popularity? Perhaps we will never know, but what is certain, when the Hatching Hour comes and the celebration reaches its climax, all eyes will be on the Dreamer and her eggs. And there is all-worlds maintenance on April 25th - the first day back at work from our sequence of public holidays over Easter, but this event runs till May 9th. I smell a twist to be unlocked.
