Aside from the CE helm, Onion gear looks fine on Hyur....don't see the issue. And Coatee's are definitely not targeted at Lalas.

How did you get other eggs ?
First time i start the quest in gridania i got an earth egg.
Then i keep only giving me a water egg.
I tried a different nation but got nothing else.

Keep trying, it's random. Same with me, I get a lot of water and lightning eggs, but rarely earth eggs.

It is most definitely random. You just have bad luck.

What is remarkable about this event?
First time we get lodestone entries for an event. Your characterpicture changes too. Seems to be a timeintensive
event.

How many lodestone entries do we get?
8: 5 for the caps to get and 3 for finishing the city quest for this event in Limsa Lominsa, Uldah and Gridania.

What do i have to do?
Ask the quest NPC about an egg and give those eggs in certain combinations to the NPC besides the egg-giving/quest
NPC. Theggs, which are given , are random.

Where do i find the NPC?
They are at the main plaza of each city near the aetherytes.

Which combination do i have to give and why do i get only one egg?
There are many open questions and i can solve only some of them today. Indeed it would be nice, if somebody can help
me out with testing. I have only 1 main char and 2 sidekicks sofar and i've already wasted 4 eggs on testing purpose
by a sidekick.

What is unknown? How can i help?

A short list, what is proven and not in percent.

- At all three cities the first cap, which you can get and only get, is a “Pristine Egg Cap” 100%
- The recipe of “Pristine Egg Cap” is “Normal-Unique”, Earth, Lightning and Water Archon Egg (each egg 1x) 100%
- How do i know the recipes? The cap-giving NPC is telling you 100%
- You can take only 1 quest at time. In other words. You can't begin the quest in Gridania, if you have an open
Uldah quest 100%
- You can only get 1 egg at a time. Even if you have finished all three quests, only one NPC of the possible three will give you an egg. Which NPC is your choice, if you have finished all three quests! 100%
- You can get an egg by every NPC, whom you have done the quest or actually doing. In other words you can't get an egg without an archives entry.
- You can also give eggs to those cap-giving NPCs, for which the quest is already fullfilled, regardless if you are doing a quest in another city or not. You can exchange eggs for a cap whenever you want.100%
- Do i get other eggs e.g. fire eggs, even i have not gotten my pristine cap? No 100%
- If you finished one quest and you went to another city for another one, you get the same recipe for pristine cap
as before, regardless if you wear your prestine cap or not. 100%
- Can i get other eggs like fire, if i have gotten my pristine egg and i am on another quest? No, there is a high chance, that you need to finish all three quests first and hope for an event update (April 21st). %100
- You are only able to start a new quest, if the timer allows you to get a new egg. Don't waste anima. You can't
rush though it. You need atleast 20 hours realtime for all three 100%
- When can i get a new egg? Every 8 hours realtime + time to next anima reset. This is no glitch. The egg script is written based on anima timer. The Npc resets only after an anima reset. The 8 hours are prerequisites and have to be fullfilled before reset. In theory, you must wait nearly 12h (worst case). 100%
-Finishing all 3 quests needs either tossing your pristine egg cap or giving it a retainer. The cap giving npc only accepts the eggcombination of pristine cap and tells you to get rid off your previous cap.
- If you have finished all three quest, there is no change for the event. The NPC accepts only pristine eggcombination.
Neither the spriggans nor the NPCs are telling you something new in all three cities. The given eggs are the same too. 100%
-If all three quests are done, the event npcs get a new exclamation mark/quest flag. 100%
- The R15 Chocobo egg cap needs a “normal” unique Archon egg too 80%
- The higher caps (R20+) need correspondent unique egg of the rank (e.g. unique R40 egg to R40 cap) 50%

High Speculation, can only prove some in the next few days without percentage

- The unreachable exclamation mark west of botanist guild is involved. I don't think so.
- Crafting is not involved for this event. I and others tried armorer and goldsmithing to no avail. There are no HQ variants known ingame, but datamining found even a pristine egg cap +3. There is a chance, that they can be crafted later. There are archon eggs +3 in the data, too.
- The missing eggs can't be collected by disciple of land.
- The missing eggs are not dropped by mobs,
- The missing eggs can't be gotten by other NPCs in the cities, regardless if you have fullfilled all sidequests so far.
-The missing eggs can't be gotten by leves, neither by crafting rewards, faction or regional rewards.
- The missing eggs can't be found in chests.
- If you have finished your quest at one or all cities (!), the recipe could change, but it doesn't do for me.
- How do i get the chocobo cap? Someone mentioned, you must equip the pristine cap first. For testing purpose please
equip the prestine cap after you got it, if you speak with the event NPCs. After equipping you should try to fullfill the recipe requirements.
- Can i avoid to get “3” pristine caps (unique, so you will most likely loose 2 anyways). Highly speculative,
because i havn't calculated this test szenario at the beginning, which i regret now.
If you finish your first quest for pristine and finish the 2nd recipe (most likely the chocobo cap) without (!)
taking another quest, then you could have the chance to avoid getting another pristine in the next city.
Why? In my opinion the R20 to R40 caps are specific to each city. Please see the cosplay of the NPCs. In my theory
you can get pristine and chocobo at each city but only the cosplay cap at the specific city. If this is correct, a
new quest will start directly with the recipe of the higher rank cap, if you got both lower rank caps in another
city before. Bad enough i am already on the 2nd quest with 2 chars without trying this (to 99% wrong without an event update)
- Do i need rank requirments for this event e.g. R40 cap only for R40+ jobs? No idea. I don't think so. Too many
would cry.
- Oher recipes: unknown

This revision is written with all quests done, egg cap equipped and all 4 known eggs in inventory.
