    SUM and/or SCH

Currently I'm playing an ARC which I really love. Right now I'm torn between going DPS by specializing in the SUM job or heals by specializing in the SCH job. As I understand it, you allocate attribute points through your main class, which would be ARC in my case. However I am torn between putting my attribute points in Intelligence for SUM or Mind for SCH.

If I choose one path, let's say SCH for example, all of my attribute points will have gone into Mind. If I ever choose to try out SUM (a DPS class with Intelligence as a main attribute), I will be extremely slacking, because all of my attribute points will have been allocated into a healing attribute when everything should be in Intelligence.

Am I missing something here? Is there any way at all around this? Even a duct-taped fix of sorts? I know this is a unique scenario, because ARC can specialize into two jobs, whereas all other classes can only specialize into one.

It is the way they intended the other class will probable have to chose when/if they get a second job added to them. But for right now its just the smn/sch. I also heard there is a way to respec you points but I'm not sure on how or where it can be done...

I've heard that Intelligence works the same way for SCH as Mind does for WHM, as far as healing potential is concerned. Is this not true?
