PC+PS3 same account questions

Hey people,

I have a question in regards to owning both the PC and PS3 version.
From my understanding you can have them linked to 1 SQEX account.
Though what I wonder is, if I would have both versions, would I need 2 subscriptions, or does 1 subscription cover both platforms
Also, are my characters shared across platforms?
So lets say I'm playing on my PC, level up my character, and decide to play on my PS3 instead, can I pick up where I left off?

1 sub only as long as both versions are linked to the same SE service account. I have exactly the same setup. And yes - progress carry over the PS3 and PC but indeed you can't be logged into both at the same time and local settings like cross / actions bars and gears sets etc. are not shared acrross devices so you'd need to set those individually.
