I like how you completely ignored my second point about needing an entire GCD before even getting a chance for RoB to proc.

He's either not understanding you, or bad at math. You have been correct in pretty much every post. SS --> BL is superior, and pre-buffing is bad.

Math is not about "feeling". There are right answers and wrong answers. In this case, the math is actually pretty simple, and your solution is faulty.

@Pessimistick & Viridiana: i'm not bad in math, i'm just judgind it doing testing on field. Maybe is me, maybe i don't know, but i don't find so limitating the pre-buffs, or the BL > SS starting. I'm not saying "omg is perfect, you MUST do it!", i'm saying that i "feel" - so, imho, my 2cents - that it work in some situations better. That thing aside, i usually think that every setup can have perks and flaw, the ones that uses them should feel good with what they do. °-°''' What is perfect or working for someone, can be unfit to another one. @Jerico79: no question is stupid. With VB dunno, isn't an "elemental damage" i think. o_O with WB and FA i think yes, those are elemental damages, so the -10% elemental resistance should apply :3

Silly question. I noticed you said keep the emnity out of the yellow. My bar is always white. How do I see it as color or where does it display better than in the raid menu?

If you look at the enemy list window, there is a colored icon next to each enemy on the list. Green is the "safe zone," and as you build enmity it changes to yellow, orange, then red.

I personally find this better than the enmity bar thing. It's because i check more the enemy hp-bars than the pt ones. °-°''''

so SS->BL->Dots->heavy shot is my rotation I've been going with. Refreshing SS with a proc or if it falls off (before a BL ofc). Fill any gap with avial non GCD. Thoughts? I just hit 50 so I've been going on my own whim.

Now that I'm 50, just wanna make sure I got everything straight. I'm finishing up my story quest so I can start my relic, correct? I know also there will be grinding for tomes for DL gear and farming primals for pre-relic gear and what not. OFC there is also leaving crafting, but I have no intent on doing that right now. I'm also leveling my lancer to get Blood for Blood.

Any other things I should look for as a new 50 BRD? ^^ Need to find a new guild or actual grp to run things with =[ Ques ftl.

@Aycheff: during some discussion with a bard on my fc - we did both runs of amda less than 18 mins, so we're focusing on fast hit and less damages optimization >_> - he said that he start usually with dot and then SS. For him it seems to work nice, Quelling Strikablee - DoT - SS - BL etc etc. I still feel more confortable with my set.

Also, you should look to have fun. Lot of fun. °-°/ If you fancy strive to be the best dpser, then follow that way. I prefer being the most useful as possible for the tank and the healer on my party, i came from years of backup healing in FFXI *RDM FOREVER! D:* so i'm used to that mindset. °.°
