Playing with friends from other cities

Hello everyone, I'm new to Final Fantasy XIV but not new to MMORPG's in General.

That said, I have one question:

I started my Character in Gridania and another Friend in Ul'Dah.
We're heading to Level 10-15 soloplaying and now we want to Play together.

Where should we meet to start questing together? Is there a Location for lvl 10-15's that is quiet in the middle from our two different cities?

We have no idea in which Location we should start questing with each other.

your main quests will begin to entertwine soon just keep it up or just go meet the other player in wherever he is accepting his sidequests currently if u dont want to wait abit

well main quests u both can do Sastash dungeon at 15 together as well as 16,17,20,24,28,32,35,38 and thats just dungeons ya'll could que up and have fun together not to mention the guilhests.. trials... and just running around doing subquests together but yea the main entertwines around lv 20 i belive when everyone heads to horizon

Alright, I'm always scared of missing relevant subquests when I make my way to a new area, that's why I'm asking :-)
