I hope you enjoy the game however you play it and where ever you choose, takes time to adjust all of this and we are all in the same boat and Square Enix is trying very hard too.

The only thing that will solve this issue is the AFK Boot install... or how about an AFK BAN where if you AFK for more than say an hour your account gets banned for 15-30 days?

After all, the servers have a concurrent log-in amount of 230,000+ each server, which is what's keeping others from logging in. I'd say about 33% of these probably aren't even active.

This is false, and the restriction is only that returning characters cannot move to non-legacy worlds. However with the transfers happening in a week or two rather than the initially-said 6 months, it's still up in the air if there will be any restrictions at all. It's easy enough to determine who is and who isn't a returning character, especially since returning characters received that opportunity to recreate their characters.

They announced they were expanding their datacenter capacity and adding new servers. The upgrades are going to take effect on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on what time in Japan they take effect.
