People think this is slow? Try FFXI during the Rise of the Zilart days, grinding on Goblins that took 2-3 minutes each to kill with a party of 6 in Bibiki Bay and gave 73 - 150 exp per kill with 40,000exp to level. Now that was slow.

I have a hard time believing you did all quests everywhere. So I got a Paladin at level 50 and today I decided to level up an Arcanist, it was all good till about level 15 when I realised I dont have anymore quests since I did them all with my Paladin :/
So does the game expect me to level a second class without any quests? Will I have to farm Fates all the way to 50 or am I missing something here?

How in the world you finish "all" quests...? Three city zone quests done? No way...

Did you skipped the rest of the game to level your first class to 50 so quickly?
If you are having issues with your 2nd class, I hate to be around and hear the issues you will have with your 3rd to 19th classes.
Suggestions:
Logs: Each class has its own log, and they all give excellent exp bonus.
FATEs: do TONS of FATEs, it also helps you with you ranking up your GC ranks, plus your FC credit if you are in one.
Dungeons: They are repeatable, great for experience, likely can gain 1+ levels with 2 runs.
Leves: You are given leves allowance for a reason. Even tho I do not recommend using leves to level DoW/M classes, they are great for DoL/H classes with combined with GC exp bonus books.
GC leves: Dungeons aren't the only place for good gear. The treasure chest from GC leves all drops pink gear.
HTHs and good luck on your 3rd to 19th classes.

- Hunting Log
- Fates
- Dungeons
- Levequests
The hunting log is basically questing without NPCs. But the above gives you plenty to work on for all of your other classes. Plus if you really have to have quests in your life, you'll still have a class quest every five levels.
SE already said that they wanted people to level via dungeons, first they allowed you to level to 15 easily and then take on the dungeons with others. You do know an MMO is about playing with others, right?
You do one areas quests while doing dungeons, fates, hunting logs and leves. If you have out-leveled that questing area, don't continue to do them all, move on to the next area and save them for future jobs. I have so many quests left over all over the place I will be fine for at least the next 2 jobs coming up.

Yea this is a big issues for new players to the game, personally I find running round after FATEs very tedious and annoying especially when they finish just as you get there.
Guildhest are awesome but after your first completion the XP isn't that great, dungeons are good fun but can be very repetitive especially if you are using them to level off.
We definitely need repeatable quests or some way of resetting our hunting logs, the later being my preferred option.
with no real reputable quest line all you got is fates and quests even from the building of this game I thought lives was a bad idea and not enough variety originally that's all there was going to be then they released their out of touch with mmos and had to go play other games to see what's going on first class was fun and exciting but I quite because grinding same lieve over and over is dull shuer it worked in the 80s but jese l'aime idea plus to put a cap on how many you can do per day wtf drove me away

Just do dungeons over and over along with roulette. Dungeon exp > Fate exp. In 2.0 it was fate exp > dungeon exp.
