Haven't been able to play in 2 days.
Not exactly... They are reimbursing everyone with an extension to the free trial once the fixes have been put in place. Have some patience; they were overwhelmed by how many of us actually wanted to play the game. And they have apologized profusely for the errors. It sucks, absolutely, but within the next couple of days we will have no issues logging in at all, and we are out no extra money whatsoever. Just because the first week it's available they're having spamming issues doesn't mean it's going to last like this the whole time, nor does it mean you'll never get to play it. Pick up another game in the meantime, or - seven hells! - go outside or something for a few hours.

The thing is, we are actually PAYING to play an MMO, where we NEED to be logged in if we want to actually play the game. I don't care how many times they apologize for the errors, they should've worked on this last saturday when they had issues with the early access. The extra week is just something they have to give players because we aren't able to fully enjoy the game at all right now, it isn't some sort of "we're sorry" gift.Not exactly... To be honest, they should've worked on something to kick afk players a while ago and many of the issues we're having right now might be fixed, or at least better. We're not having much update on the SE end so far, they post twitter updates saying the issues are fixed, and yet it's been 2 days since I've been able to actually log on my server.
TLDR, it isn't a "we're sorry" gift, it's something they HAVE to give back to players because we can't play.

You're only half-right here... It is an apology gift, to be certain. They don't *have* to give us extra free time. And on top of that, there isn't a whole lot they could have done to anticipate this, besides having more servers prepared ahead of time. The whole "Kicking AFK people" trick wouldn't work - you would still be competing with thousands of players at once trying to get in. And when were you charged for your first month of play time? Oh, that's right - you haven't been yet. It absolutely sucks to not be able to enjoy this game asap, but shit happens. I'm still unable to connect to Behemoth myself, and it sucks. I'm going to have to figure something else out to do with my time. But I've also not got my panties in a bunch because I know that in two days time the slack will have completely worn and we'll all be able to play to our heart's content. It's not that peoples' arguments aren't justified - but come on. It takes time to purchase, procure, set up, and test physical servers. They don't grow on trees, pre-installed. Give them a break.
