I just finished the main story on my black mage. and im not entirely sure how to level my arcanist. i clear out the hunting logs but there are no quests to do. Fate grinding isnt really possible because of lack of people in area. So am i supposed to dungeon/mob grind?

Honestly I want them to up the % of exp that you get for having a max level. People are in short supply in lowbie zones.

It's a real pain, and in all honesty why should it take forever after your first 50?

You get 50% bonus exp already, and you don't have to be 50.

Side note, fates should be cake to solo as arcanist.
Arcanist is broken to the point where they can heal and tank low level ifrit.
No sympathy for an arcanist.

I find it hard to believe that there are no groups grinding fates on your server, there have to be... somewhere. That aside, there's always guild leves. I'll be honest though, it'd be nice if fates scaled to the number of players participating.

If you can't find a fate group make one, or maybe get your linkshell to help out, even if someone has all 50's company seals can still be usefull. At the very worst you can buy consumables with them.

there should be another option besides. grind fates.

So many options. Get to it. It's really not bad at all.

I got to level 15 in less than 2 hours with my gladiator just by doing hunting logs and fates as I saw them. 1 dungeon run is 1 level with the 50% boost. If thats not fast enough for you, then noone can help you.

This is a group based game. I suggest you get used to it.

There are a lot of options for leveling, and it was known to everyone that the first class for many to 50 will be the fastest to level thx to main story missions. Your next few classes will be noticeably slower to level without the main story quest supplementing it. If you get burned out on leveling battle classes try the crafting and gathering classes which can be just as fulfilling.

Grind levemetes. They give you close to the same xp as story quests if not more in some cases.
