Bought PS3, the code comes out "invalid" when Redeeming

Anyone have this issue, finally decided to buy this and got this crap!
went to Account Management --> Redeem Code and says invalid
same for PSN store and the mog station but you can't register ps3 codes there

And it's the 4-4-4 code? Considering we're talking about Walmart, are you 100% sure it was a new copy and not one that got returned?

yea, it was in the glass cage and it is factory sealed, the other code worked for registering the game for the social thing but not the one behind the manual

Sorry I've got no clue on that one then. See if you can open a ticket with Square and find out what's going on.

I'm having this same issue except my ps3 only does 12 digit code redemption

Dont know if you tried, but I think its case sensitive.

There is a difference between the pre-order codes and the game code itself. Make sure you are not mixing the two up. Other than that I don't know what else to tell you, as I do not have the PS3 version and haven't had to figure out how to beat the PS3 registration boss... :P

I did the same thing as you friend, what you need to do is forget about the square enix insert and instead pull out the FFXIV insert (where the manual would be in a bygone age) that contains safety information or w/e they put there now.'

Got that in your hand? Turn it around, and on the back you will see a PSN code! Problem solved friend.
